Refund policy
1. Right of withdrawal (EU customers)
In accordance with applicable EU consumer law, customers located in the European Union have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days from delivery, without providing any reason.
To exercise this right, customers must contact info@angelfood.it before returning any goods. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
2. Return eligibility conditions
To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:
- the product must be unopened, unused, and in perfect resellable condition
- original packaging, seals, and labels must be fully intact
- proof of purchase must be provided
Due to food safety and hygiene regulations, any opened or partially used food product is strictly non-returnable.
Returned goods that do not meet these conditions will be rejected and no refund will be issued.
3. Return shipping responsibility
Once a return is authorized in writing:
- return shipping costs are fully borne by the customer
- the customer is fully responsible for the shipment until it is delivered and received

Any return shipped without prior authorization will be refused.
4. Nature of goods (food safety restriction)
All products sold are food items intended for human consumption.
For hygiene and safety reasons:
- returned goods cannot be resold under any circumstances
- all returned items are subject to inspection upon arrival
- non-compliant goods will be rejected without refund
5. Refusal of delivery, failed delivery, and uncollected shipments
If the customer refuses delivery, fails to accept the parcel, or does not collect the shipment:
- this is considered a voluntary cancellation of the order after dispatch
- the shipment may be returned to sender or disposed of according to courier procedures (including destruction for hygiene and safety reasons)
The customer acknowledges and agrees that in such cases:
5.1 Refund conditions
- a refund of the product price is only possible if goods are returned intact, recovered, and suitable for inspection and resale evaluation
- if goods are not recovered, are destroyed, damaged, or no longer suitable for resale, no refund will be issued for the product value
5.2 Costs borne by the customer
The customer expressly agrees that all the following costs are non-refundable and may be deducted from any potential refund:
- original shipping costs
- return shipping costs (including carrier return-to-sender fees)
- storage and handling fees
- administrative and processing costs
- disposal or destruction costs (if applicable)
In many cases, these costs may equal or exceed the order value, resulting in no refund being due.
6. Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
Customers must inspect their order immediately upon delivery.
Claims must be submitted promptly to info@angelfood.it, including photographic evidence.
If the issue is confirmed as attributable to us:
- a full refund or replacement will be issued
- no additional costs will be charged to the customer
7. Refund processing
Once a return is received and inspected:
- the customer will be notified of approval or rejection
- approved refunds are processed within 10 business days
Refunds are issued via the original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on banks or payment providers.
8. Non-refundable cases
No refunds will be issued in the following cases:
- opened or used products
- unauthorized returns
- failure to meet return conditions
- refused or uncollected shipments where goods are not recoverable or resellable
9. Acceptance of policy
By placing an order, the customer explicitly confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Return and Refund Policy.
10. International orders (including United States and non-EU countries)
For orders placed outside the European Union, including the United States, no statutory right of withdrawal applies.
All returns, refunds, and cancellations are governed exclusively by this Return and Refund Policy.
The customer agrees that:
- shipping costs, return costs, and all logistical expenses are fully non-refundable
- refunds are subject strictly to inspection and product recoverability
- the merchant’s decision following inspection is final, subject only to applicable mandatory consumer protection laws
